Refocused Sunday Schedule
For the Fall of 2010, we have refocused our services. Now families with children up through high school can all attend a Sunday School class and then a worship service as a family – no more splitting up the family to accomodate different class times. So a family can attend either the 8:15 traditional service and then go to classes or attend the classes at 9:30 and then our new family-friendly worship service at 11:00.
The 11:00 a.m. service will be a multigenerational worship experience, incorporating the feel of August’s Family Worship Month. This service will be open to anyone – young, old, single, or married – and it will have the unique focus of including children and students into the worship experience along with introducing some classic hymns and the history behind them.
8:15 a.m. – Traditional Service. Worship with hymns accompanied by piano. Nursery available for children 2 and under.
9:30 a.m. – Contemporary Service. Modern worship songs with a guitar-led band. During this service time, Sunday school classes are available for all age groups and nursery is available for children under 2.
11:00 a.m. – Multigenerational Service, engaging all ages and life stages. Nursery available for children 2 and under.
