We are a non-denominational church seeking to be faithful to the Scripture
while fostering united evangelical witness. Our distinctive beliefs
include the following:
Salvation: We believe that all are sinners in need of God's
forgiveness and life, and that this is provided by His grace through
repentance and faith in Christ alone. All who put their faith in Jesus
as Savior and Lord receive eternal life and are saved forever.
The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit comes to
indwell each believer at the moment of conversion. The Holy Spirit
equips each believer for service through His gifts and graces. We
believe that certain apostolic gifts such as miracles, signs, wonders,
tongues, and revelations were given to launch the church and are not
to be sought after today. All are to claim daily the fullness of the
Holy Spirit's power for fruitful living.
The Bible: We believe that the 66 Books of the Bible were
given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit and protected, in the original
writings, from error. The Bible alone is our only and completely adequate
source of spiritual truth.
Baptism: We believe that baptism is a visible expression of
faith for believers in Christ, properly administered by immersion
in water as a symbol of our identification with Christ in His death,
burial and resurrection.
The Return of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is coming
again in power and great glory to bring judgement on the world and
to gather His own into eternal fellowship with Him. CCF members hold
various views as to the nature and timing of these prophetic events,
but are united in the conviction that we are to be on alert, waiting
for this blessed hope.
Our Leadership: The congregation is led by a group of leaders
chosen by the congregation to share the duties of overseeing and guiding
the church's ministry. The present Elder Board of 7 men includes three
full-time ministers.
