The Ministry Training Network of Southeastern New England (MTN) is a cooperative association of Rhode Island pastors with a burden to establish a diverse program of regionally available training for current church ministry leaders, teachers, counselors, elders, evangelists and missionaries, as well as for future ministry workers (For example: those whom God has gifted and called to enlarge their ministry responsibilities, young people with future ministry aspirations, or mature adults considering post-retirement or “second-career” ministry options.).

On November 4 and 5 Roy King will be back in R. I. conducting a seminar for pastors and church leaders at Stony Lane Baptist Church in North Kingstown on the topic: God’s Strange Methods and Rich Resources. Roy is a gifted communicator and has the ability to get beneath the surface and address personal issues that are of utmost importance to spiritual leaders. The seminar will be in two parts:
- Thursday,6:30–9:15 p.m.: God’s Strange Methods for Developing Church Leaders. This first session will be geared for pastors and their leadership teams. The cost will be $15 per person including light refreshments.
- Friday,8:00–11:30 a.m.: God’s Rich Resources for Depleted Church Leaders. This second session will be geared for full-time pastors (but it is open to all leaders). The costwill be $20 including continental breakfast.
